Rosemullion Homes offer Towering Support to Kneehigh Theatre Project
A Cornish theatre company and a Truro-based housebuilder have joined forces in a unique project which is aimed at helping disadvantaged young people.
Kneehigh Theatre and Rosemullion Homes have collaborated to create The Rosemullion Tower, which will form part of an ongoing resource for Kneehigh’s programme of work in Cornwall.
The daylong workshop will focus on the challenge of constructing and erecting the pre designed structure and will promote creativity, team building skills and confidence.
As well as being used young people, The Rosemullion Tower, created by Penwith artist, Graham Jobbins, will also feature in future Kneehigh events.
“We’re really pleased to be able to get The Rosemullion Tower project off the ground,” said Charlotte Bond, Kneehigh’s general manager.
“As well as The Rosemullion Tower being a striking and iconic visual reference used in our public events, it will also play a vital role in our work within Cornwall. This year The Rosemullion Tower will be used in three workshops working with
disadvantaged young people throughout the county.
“All of us at Kneehigh would like to thank Rosemullion Homes for their generous support in helping to make this project happen.”
Already a Kneehigh Guardian, Rosemullion Homes have sponsored £3000 towards the project.
A further £2000 assistance has been provided by Art and Business through its REACH project.

“The Rosemullion Tower will be a great symbol that will hopefully inspire people through working together.”
