Pirate FM
Pirate FM is the local commercial radio station covering predominantly the whole of Cornwall, but also Plymouth and West Devon with around 185,000 adults tuning in every week.
As well as working with numerous local companies to help promote their businesses, our involvement with the community is many-fold. On-air the 'What's On Guide' advertises charity and non-profit making events, the 'Helpdesk' puts those in need in touch with those who can help, 'Pet Search' helps reunite lost pets with their owners. Off-air practically every week of the year you will find the Pirate crew attending events across the South West - Royal Cornwall Show, Flora Day, Newlyn Fish Festival, school fetes, carnivals, Christmas light switch-ons, etc.
In addition, Pirate FM runs its own charitable arm, the Pirate Trust, which since its inception 13 years ago has raised almost £500,000 with all of the money going back into the South West.
We are, therefore delighted to be associated with the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce as we believe that by working together we can continue to build and add strength to the business community in Cornwall.
